Ayurveda Treatment for Arthritis

Vata is the governing factor in the maintenance of equilibrium in the universe as well as in the body. Matra vasthi/Sneha vasthi (medicated Oil enema)

Matravasthi is a form of Sneha vasthi. It is convenient and comfortable in administration. It nourishes the body, promotesthe strength, and cures Vata-related diseases.Vasti,through its action on Vata and Agni, promotes the formationof Dhatus. The colon is considered as main seat of Vata and Vata‑alleviating substances administered through the rectocolonic route in Matrabasti are able to have their optimum effect on the seat of Vata.
